I’m excited to have two poems in the Summer 2019 issue of Mezzo Cammin! I wrote “Twice-Told Tale” after a conversation with my mother, which (she claimed) was actually the second time we had talked about this particular topic. The addressee in “Scholar Ship” is also a real person and a good friend, despite some differences of opinion.
