I translate from various Romance languages (French, Occitan, Castilian, Catalan, Portuguese, and Italian — both medieval and modern) into English. My translations from the French poetry of Renée Vivien are available through Headmistress Press and Amazon. Some of my other translations and poems have appeared in Adrienne, Lavender Review, Lunch Ticket, Mezzo Cammin, and other publications.
I am currently studying Comparative Literature and Literary Theory at the University of Pennsylvania. My dissertation will offer the first English translation of Christine de Pizan’s Cent Ballades d’Amant et de Dame, together with a critical introduction and annotations.
